Sitting On Moms Tummy

knew nothing, really, but I must admit that he is glad a lot when you see a giant image of a painting by Ramon Gaya on a building in the heart of the city, in the very Belluga Square and opposite the cathedral. Just finished the centenary year and I think it's been a very fruitful time for his memory and his work have been very important exhibitions, there have been days of reflection, publications ..., but one would like that figure Gaya represent something else, not to stay another painter to be more or less recognized as a time-consuming, to look at his pictures did not meet only our amateurish painting, one that you would really like is to approach the work of Gaya meant a turning point, a place from which modern man would regain the lost way of painting. And north of Gaya, of course, but for us all, for our future. Juan Ballester
